It has been a busy couple of weeks! Recently, Intercept Silver & Jewelry Care Co. President, Marc Rothenberg, joined other Intercept Technology(TM) company leaders in an animal welfare project involving an expansion of the ArhönA Sanctuary in Hohenroda-Mansbach, Germany. You are probably wondering, what is this project all about?

Spain's high food prices and harsh winter has resulted in widespread horse malnourishment. This initiative seeks to rescue these Spanish horses and nurse them back to health on farms with proper shelter and nourishment. The participating Intercept volunteers were divided into teams to get the job done. Condensing what could have been a month's worth of labor into a single day's work, the teams constructed a farm sanctuary that consisted of six new horse stables.

As an environmentally conscious company, ISJC gladly took part in this sustainability inititiative. Many companies today are adopting "green" business practices from using more environmentally friendly materials, such as recyclable packaging, to engaging in their environmental responsibility.
